Milton Cricket Club is offering new sponsorship opportunities for the 2011 season. Help us to develop our facilities and continue to sustain our adult and colt teams. During the 2011 season we will be fielding 3 adult teams playing on a Saturday, a Sunday friendly team, a midweek team and 2 colts teams - under 11’s and 14’s.
Running a local cricket club is not easy. We rely on volunteers to maintain our pitches, support our growing colts numbers through coaching and in other elements of the club such as administration and purchasing of equipment. The sponsorship and support we currently receive goes a long way to enabling us to do this. But there is always more we could do to improve our club, both for the current members and any new members we attract.
In 2010 we were able to replace two of our three outdoor nets, this was made possible due to generous donations from the Lion and Lamb pub in Milton and the Cambridge Evening News.
In 2011, if we are able to get enough sponsorship this season we are going to complete our renovation of our cricket nets that we started in 2010. We are also hoping to buy a new boundary rope and markers for the ground which will be used at every home game we play.

- Advertise in the Milton Cricket Club Fixture Book - £10
Advertise your company in the Milton cricket club fixture book, this book is distributed to over 100 people every season in the village from players to villagers, for the price of only £10 per page. (Deadline for advertisements in our 2011-fixture book is 1st April 2011).
- Match Ball sponsorship - £20
Advertise the name of your company on a board by the pavilion at home games. Sponsor one match day ball for £20 or multiple match balls, for example 3 games £50, 5 games £75 or even 10 games £130. This can be combined with pitch-side banner advertising offering greater exposure of your organisation.
- Website advertising - £75
Milton CC website has excellent exposure appearing as a top 5 search result from a Google search for "cricket Cambridge". Most of our new players find us through our website which has the benefit of giving you exposure all year round. If you choose to place a website advert your company logo and a link to your website will appear on our home page.
- Pitch side banner - £150
We are able to erect (approx 6 foot wide by 3 foot high, these are professionally produced by a graphic designer) a pitch side banner along the boundary and around the pavilion area at home games. Home matches are played at the Sycamores recreation ground, attracting many visitors and passers by throughout an afternoon. Banners will be displayed at every home game during the season. Price £150 (plus a one-off payment of £30 to cover production costs).
- Kit and Team wear - Price depends on suppliers
