Camden Home Camden had some strong players and managed to put on a large first innings total. I wasn\'t disappointed with the bowling and fielding though - we did quite well. We had some good fielding, with some good efforts at catches. There were some stopped with feet though (Emma!) which we should try to stop doing. Batting again wasn\'t too bad, but we had too much to do. We should be looking for more quick runs, and we are going to have to practice backing up again. Picture of the team below: Man of the Match - Akash for his good batting.
Cup Match v Histon We WON !! Well Done everyone; it was a close match which we managed to keep our heads (and wickets) to win by just 6 runs in the end. What was particularly encouraging was only losing one wicket ! A Photos below, with the match report from the Cambridge Evening News (which is wrong, but never mind - Andrew had 21 off his bowling, not 21 for batting).
Well, two matches against Histon, with 18 different players, and we won both of them! What won us the games was not being out too many times, and taking 8 wickets in both matches. Well Done Everyone! Man of the match Monday: James Drummond for his all-round performance and great catch. Man of the Match Tuesday: Callum Russell for taking a wicket bowling and good batting. I even remembered to bring my camera to the match on Tuesday, see photo:
