First XI
In 2007, Milton CC 1st XI competed in CCA Junior League Div 1 N and the CCA Junior Cup. In the league we finished 1st out of 10 teams with 10 wins, 4 losses and 4 games cancelled due to rain, earning promotion to Senior League Division 3. By beating the Junior 1S champions, Great Chishill, we were crowned the Junior League Champions. We reached the quarter finals in the cup.
Individual awards this year were awarded to Mark Barton(Best Bowler), Sandeep Mohanraj (Best Batsman), Ally Minto (Player of the Year), Sam Allen (Young Player of the Year) and Simon Coston (Best Fielder). (Jez Major)
Second XI
After losing the first two games, the second team won every remaining game (with a few rained off). A couple of players made all the difference. Vad bowled well and won a trophy this year. The whole team chipped in and looked good. We proved that we were good enough for the division and hopefully good enough for promotion next year. (Bob Newton)
Third XI
We played in Junior League 4 NB and played 10 games with 4 rained off. We won 8 and lost 2 and got promoted as champions. (Ian Coston)
Colts
It was a “not so good” year due to many games lost to the weather
