An all round poor batting and bowling display saw Milton lose by 74 runs. Batting first Camden racked up almost 200 runs with out much trouble. Gibson 37, Hosdon 62 and Mitchell 36 doing the bulk of the damage. Only Hursh Nayar 4/47 and Kiran Sakhamuri 2/39 took any wickets. Will Conlon and James Turner both bowled well but failed to take any wickets.
Bob 30 and Phil 28 got Milton of to a steady start but a flurry of wickets and the occasional dubious umpiring decision saw Milton bowled out for a disappointing 123. Only Dave 20 and Graeme 10 reaching double figures. The wickets were shared evenly but left arm spinner Armstrong took 3/6 in not many overs and was the pick of the Camden bowlers. For those who take interest in this kind of thing the wicket played quite nicely.
Team: Phil, Bob, Hursh, Graeme, Dave, Dan H, Will, Kiran, Guy, James T and Stephen D
Man of the match as voted for by the team: Stephen Denman for putting his body on the line in the field on more than one occasion.
