Milton 160-7 beat Girton 156-7 by 4 runs

Milton made a par score of 160 batting first in an inning dominated by 49 from Jez and 50 not out from Chris DeVaal at number 7. After 30 overs Girton were exactly half way at 80-3 and an easy Milton victory looked on the cards. But a late acceleration had Milton sweating as they started the last over requiring 10 to win. Fortunately Chris was able to restrict them to just 5 and Milton held on. Gerhard was the pick of the bowlers with 4-41 from his 10 overs.
