Report on the Milton CC Under 15 match v. Fordham (Cup Ist Round) 9.5.05
Milton 146 for 2 off 18 overs (Match abandoned)
A frustrating evening for all concerned. The early overs from Fordham were quite tidy, but after that and the early loss of captain Sam Allen (smartly caught and bowled) Nick Seaman (60) and Adam Coles, with his first ever fifty, cut loose in an exciting century partnership. Seaman was then very well caught and Jack Franklin then came in a to play a few good shots before the rain came.
Milton sportingly declared in the hope of getting a result on the evening, but the rain ad set in and the match now needs to be replayed. The provisional date is Wed. May 18th.
